. As further development of the six valve, Romanelli in 1996 designed a 3000cc W-9 Formula 1 engine using the 6-valve patented design, with Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI), and Peripheral Plasma Ignition (PPI). Then the rules were changed to keep out designers with new and significant ideas. Using one bank of the W-9 from this project we will build a competitive 3 cylinder 990cc for motorcycle Grand Prix racing with the integrated QUAZCOOL Cooling system.

. The patented QUAZCOOL cooling system, controlled by the engine management  ECU, uses an electric pump with a smart controller and a heat exchanger which is integrated in a modular carbon graphite foam Dissipative Structure, located under the seat support.
